IGDF are currently looking to recruit more assessors from the Asia region to join the IGDF Assessors group.
Applicants must be qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructors with a minimum of ten years of experience working in an IGDF organisation, who have also had experience in some capacity as a manager or supervisor of staff. All applicants must also be fluent in both written and verbal English.
Assessments of IGDF member schools usually take three to four days. An assessor would normally be asked to undertake not more than 12 days every other year. Full training is given prior to assessors undertaking solo assignments.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an interview, where they will be asked to provide a short presentation on their motivations, attitude and behaviour.
