Are you looking for a new challenge that will enrich you personally and professionally?
The Guide Dog School in Liestal, Switzerland is looking for a qualified guide dog instructor with experience in training future GDMI’s (Guide Dog Mobility Instructors).

Your tasks:

  • Teaching theoretical and practical knowledge to Cadet-GDMI’s for the training of guide dogs
  • Training and supervision of two to three kadet instructors according to the standards of the IGDF
  • Participation in two short seminars (3 days each) and two one-day seminars for experienced guide dog teams
  • Willingness to travel within Switzerland

Your profile:

  • Qualification as a guide dog instructor from an IGDF accredited organization
  • Experience in training Cadet instructors
  • Very good language skills in German OR English (oral and written)
  • Computer skills and the ability to fluent in written form
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to train dogs and guide dog teams in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to represent the values of the Liestal Guide Dog School | VBM and pass these on to Cadet instructors
