Guide Dogs NSW/ACT is one of Australia’s most trusted charities with a long history of providing services to clients who have low vision or are blind, that promote their independence.
The purpose of this rewarding position is to train high quality dogs to meet Outcome Standards as determined by Guide Dogs NSW/ACT.
Our team of Guide Dog Trainers work collaboratively with each other and the broader Guide Dog Production teams out of our central Guide Dog Centre, which enables our organisation to consistently supply high-quality Guide Dogs to our clients.
We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys working with others, is motivated by delivery excellence and has proven skills in dog training excellence alongside a Guide Dog Trainer qualification from an IGDF accredited school.
