Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Forfar Guide Dog Training School; however, applications to be based in Edinburgh would also be considered.
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £26,802 to £33,958 per annum, dependant on experience.
Key information: This position is for individuals who are qualified as a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, recognised by the International Guide Dog Federation.

Are you a qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructor who would like to enable people with sight loss to get out and about through their partnership with a guide dog?

The Guide Dog Mobility Instructors role is central to the delivery of the core guide dog service. As a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, you will deliver specialist services as a part of a rehabilitation programme through existing or new guide dog owner partnerships. You will provide specialist assessments and a staged mobility plan, tailored to meet personal needs and expectations in relation to guide dog mobility.
